Craving Onions while Pregnant Boy or Girl

If you have a craving for raw onions or love to eat cooked onion dishes, don’t worry because it’s not a strange craving and, it’s healthy during pregnancy.

If you’re wondering what’s causing your onion cravings, there could be a lack of sulfur and vitamins like C and B6.

Though no research has confirmed the exact cause of your onion craving, some research has suggested that you pay special attention to your liver.

According to old wives’ tales, cravings for onions and mushroom foods indicate the arrival of a baby girl, while cravings for spicy like hot sauce indicate the arrival of a baby boy.

The reasons for the baby boy are explained in detail later. However, there is no approved research on craving and a baby’s gender.

The data shows that I made during my pregnancy week, and I just started some fun activities during my pregnancy and discovered some exceptional stats that are shown in this article.

So the rest of the article covered some interesting stats about onion craving and baby’s gender, benefits of onion during pregnancy, and some interesting queries.

Craving onions while pregnant boy or girl?

Before I begin discussing my data collection, I’d like to remind you once more. It is only my data collection that is based on gathering information. There is no scientific evidence to support this. So, just have fun with it.

During my pregnancy week, I created a channel for pregnant women, and when I made this stat, there were only 63 pregnant mothers.

However, onions are common foods in our daily life, so almost all mothers take the foods, but when it comes to a craving I found 23 of them love to eat raw onions and craved it.

The remaining 40 mothers take it as nutritionists recommend, with the majority preferring cooked dishes over raw.

I contacted them at the end of the pregnancy week and discovered that the majority of them (14) have a baby girl, and 06 have a baby boy.

If you think about the rest of the 40 mon, most of them have a baby boy, and I remember one mother who comes with twins and loves to take eggs, coffee, and wants avocados desperately.

From this data, we can conclude that those are craved onions among them 61% mother comes with a baby girl, and those are added in there list because of a healthy diet 67% came with a baby girl.

If you’re wondering about me, I like eating and drinking pineapple juice rather than onions. I do, however, have a baby boy.

I’m continuing my research and gathering fresh data, which I’ll put here periodically. If you like it, please let us know what you predict the outcome will be.

Craving onion rings is it boy or girl?

The desire for onion rings means you want to eat raw onion, and it means there was a chance of baby girl that I already mentioned depends on our fun stats.

However, don’t think much about your gender if you craved too much onion. At that time, focus on some nutritious foods like broccoli and fruits like bananas and make your pregnancy week healthy.

Craving pickled onions boy or girl?

Craving pickles are one of the most popular questions for pregnant mothers and if you are craving pickled onions then there is probably a chance of baby boy because pickled are mainly salty and sour.

Most of the research said craving pickles mean your body needs more sodium and that’s why are you craving salty foods like pickled.

However, a craving for potato chips is also to blame for this point.

No severe issues are reported to date about too much eating onions.

However, during pregnancy take all foods and fruits but limited quantity. If you take too many onions then some side effects may occur such as-

  • Gas
  • Runny nose
  • Red eyes
  • Diarrhea

Remember that onions, especially red onions, have a strong flavor. Bad odors in your mouth can occur if you do not brush after eating raw onions.

What happens if you don’t satisfy your onion cravings

If you have a strong desire for certain foods but they are not available at the time, you can eat other healthy foods to try to change your mind.

Nothing will happen if you do not satisfy your craving because it’s happening because of your poor shelf control in your eating.

If your craving is persistent, I suggest consulting with your healthcare staff and experimenting with a fruit combination as a substitute for the onions.

Wrap up on craving onions and predict gender

Thinking for a boy or girl during pregnancy is a common worry for all expecting mothers. That is perfectly acceptable. You’re a mother, and you’re the only one who notices because they’re always with you.

So, if you crave onions, it could be because your body requires more nutrition, which could be due to hormonal changes, taste, or poor shelf control.

As I gathered data during my pregnancy, I discovered that the majority of women who craved onions throughout their pregnancy had a baby girl.

So eat healthy foods and enjoy your pregnancy weeks.
